HOW TO PREVENT SICKNESS

April of 1847 , before the new rule of washing your hands went into effect, one out of six pregnant women had died! Then Dr. Semmelweis’s Ward starting washing their hands.  Amazingly in the month of June, only 1 out of every 42 women died and in July , only one out of every 84 died. A fourteenfold decrease in mortality!!! This was not a miracle this was from following basic biblical principles of just washing your hands in between patients.
Now modern medicine recognizes the work of Dr. Semmelweis as among the greatest advances of just practicing hand washing!
Just think of the blind faith we practice today in obstetrics, pediatrics and neurology. Without praying for Gods wisdom, we make decisions of taking toxic pharmaceuticals and choosing invasive surgical procedures which could have devastating and permanent side affects.
Centuries before Dr. Semmelweis God gave Moses detailed instructions on the safest method for cleansing the hands after handling infected and or a dead patient, I personally have found that working with the sick and or injured, to slow down and have a talk with the Lord about what that particular patient is going through. Discernment of the voice of God is paramount to the amazing results we’ve been blessed with over the last 38 years.  Also, being in agreement with the Lord and the family members has proven to be just as important to gaining quick and long lasting results.
