Pediatric Chiropractic.. The Approach

The Bellomos started going to the Chiropractic office in the 1950s. The purpose of the chiropractic visit was to stay ahead of the sickness, illness pain curve.  In other words a totally family preventative lifestyle. A style of life that believes in honoring how the body was created and how the body perpetually replicates normal functional tissue.
Pediatric chiropractic is totally and completely safe and totally natural. As we locate a misaligned vertebra in a child spine. We want to gently and safely apply a tender force to the misaligned subluxated vertebra.  As we apply
 that pressure the nerve impulses which come from the brain and brain stem reconnect to the organs and muscles of the body allowing for communication.

Dr. Henry Winsors studies give weight to the incredible claims that spinal subluxation’s known as misalignments interfere with the body’s ability to function . This has a profound impact on internal organ health in children, and in adults whether it’s the child’s heart, lungs, uterus, ovaries, pancreas, kidneys, or liver.
The simplicity of a gentle, spinal exam on a newborn baby involves the gentle touching and or palpation of the 24 movable spinal bones. In pediatric chiropractic, the key is analyzing the location of vertebra number one called the atlas. As the vertebra call, the atlas moves into an abnormal or misaligned position. It can lean against the brainstem. This misalignment called subluxation, short circuits the communication from the brain and brain stem, and possibly the vagus nerve which controls all the major organs in the child’s body. This  interference or short circuit of the life-giving impulses in the central nervous system usually leads to a malfunctioning cellular replication system. The malfunction of the impulses of life disconnected to an organ leads to an organ that is not functioning to its maximize God-given potential. In turn, leading to a weak and dysfunctional organ.

The good news is, a pediatric chiropractor can locate the subluxation in an infant and reduce the interference so the child can have strong and functional organs.
